For that price, it should come with complimentary boat-side service.

Oh man I lost a custom painted wart the other day and rage quit... I think I might just puke if I lost or broke on of those.

Glad he is sending you a new one though!

I know its a bit late but for future reference with all baits "consider it gone once you tie it on." if you are too scared to use the bait as the tool it is then you should probably not fish that bait. try some cheaper swimbaits, but still sorry for the loss. hope it got replaced!

Man I get nervous tying on my megabass lures. Lose an s-crank and I’m sick for a week lol. I haven’t even tried the $35 swimbait I got 2-3 weeks ago yet. More power to you tho, bigger stones than I. ?

Ouch!  Did you send out a group of divers to search for the remains?  With a bait like that, the ONLY place it would go would be in a walnut frame and on my wall.  I still get weepy when I think of a 6 dollar bait I lost on the first cast.  Losing a bait like THIS would send me to the loony bin.

I did get ahold of Mr. Hinkle. These baits are kind of like unicorns amongst the swimbait community he was more than helpful very nice. And seemed anxious to replace the bait. Free of charge. Some have waited close to a year to get one first hand. He said he'll get one out to me asap.

Outstanding.

A year isn't that long in the big scheme of things. Hell, I waited 2-1/2 years just to be able to post to this thread :roflmao1:

This is not even close to the going rate.  That's more than double and somebody got ripped

I doinked my custom painted phoney off a dock corner this summer. I was afraid I'd see something like this when I reeled it in.

So did he reimburse you? Fyi, Hinkles are still going in the $300 range

I’d probably cry for days. I’ve lost enough higher end swimbaits not to trust myself with a Hinkle.

I love bass fishing, but not that much where I'm willing to pay for something that can get lost in a blink of an eye.

Where can you buy one? I've been wanting to purchase one for a while now.

Swimbaitunderground.com

or the swimbaitUniverse Facebook page.

if you try to buy one from Andrew it’ll take months to a year before you get it.
