Wondering if anyone here has held these two rods in the 7' Medium Fast. I fish veritas rods mostly, but looking for something with a little more tip flex to it for working senkos and smaller baits. Even the Medium veritas rods are broom sticks, which is not what I want. I can't find a blackout locally so I am relying on you guys to help me out!

I have a Veritas and a blackout. The blackout is much softer and has much more flex. I also feel it's a little more sensitive.

Abu Garcia's rods in general are stiffer and faster than there ratings.  Try abu's medium-lite rod, it's closer to a normal medium power rod.

They don't sell a ML in casting models.

Sounds like what I need then!

The Blackouts are on the lighter side of their ratings IMO.

Thats okay too! I need something with a good tip for "working" baits. I have enough "meat" rods for around cover.
