I have heard a lot of people having success in early spring with flat sided crankbaits.  What is your favorite flat sided crankbait on the market?   Thanks so much for your suggestions!

Now that you can find them here in the USA, the Storm Thin Fin  and one you will find hard to believe is Cabela's flat sided PorkChop.

I thought those have been in the US for a bit? Brad's thin fish?

Mother of pearl. Just when I thought there were no more techniques to buy.

What is this flat sided crank bait you speak of and what does it do that makes it special? It kind of looks like a lipless with a square bill.

I'm really starting to do some good things with Carolina crankbaits ... But they still won't make me not mention the flat 75x

Another vote for the Bandit flat maxx, it was great for me last year when I saw sub 40 degree air temps in July.

well...................lipless cranks are "flat sided" and that's about the only thing I use with a "flat side"...........so my vote goes for the SK Red Eye Shad ..............lol.

Kvd flat side 1.5

Thank you for this. I can now sleep comfortably. I can't even count the number of fish I have caught on the 1.5F in the last year. Fall and Spring so far. I only use 2 colors, the red craw and the chartreuse black back. They are legendary baits.
