Think I need more time on the water or just lucky. Lost 1 Buzzbait in the last 3 years and broke the bill off a KVD 1.5 Square Bill on a rock.

Lucky dog, I brake off more in a single day than that!

Lost a lucky craft pointer on the first cast on the schuylkill last week, followed in quick succession with a spro aruku shad and a storm twitch stick.

d**n sam, you need to tie on a leader and take a knot tying class.  You have excellent taste in lures.

Remind me to fish downstream from you ..................LOL:stupid:

I have "lost" a 3600 box that held my best spinnerbaits and chatterbaits.  I have rooted around in both my car and spare room and it has not turned up.  Now, neither spot is what you could call clean, so a full search might turn it up.  My only clue is that a week or so ago I made a last minute switch from a LMB trip to a saltwater trip and the night before I cut the chatterbait that I had tied on off but did not put it back in the box.  It is still sitting on my work bench, mocking me.

Every single time I tie on a Rat-L-Trap, I lose it.  I've lost 4-5 this year already.  Doesn't matter if I'm in stumpy weedy waters, a rocky creek or what seems to be wide open waters, they always get hung and break off.  I may just give up on that lure for the rest of the year.  I usually lose it on the first few casts too, so have yet to catch a fish on one.
