I keep seeing Big Game mentioned as a good line and I bought some, in the Solar Collector color. WOW! Now, that glowing green line is definitely visible! In the sunlight, amazing! I wonder if fish can see it easier in the water, since it's insanely visible above water to me! As for knowing where your line is in the water, no problem now. I bought 15lb test. Is there any technique that this line is NOT suitable for? I fish soft plastics t-rig a lot, spinnerbait, crankbait, chatterbait.

I was shocked at such a low price. I wonder how many people 'swear by it' just because it's inexpensive? Or is really a good line? I love this price, holy cow!

Yes I swear by it because it's cheap. I fish stuff that eats braid and fish whose gill plates cut braid like butter. I need abrasion resistance. I also replace my mono fairly frequently. It also works well. At least in manly sized round reels. It's tamable, manageable, forgiving and tough enough to not need a bite leader.  I don't use it strictly because it's cheap but its a part of it. More expensive lines don't make sense for my kind of fishing. First and foremost it performs. That I can get it in economic bulk is certainly a plus.

it is cheap, a big reason why i use it....  but it also just flat out works.  15lb is good for a lot of techniques.  May be a little large for cranking or some finesse tactics though.  i use 15lb for buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, swim jigs, squarebills, paddletail swimbaits on larger jigheads.  A lot more i'm sure, those are just what i can think of for now.  I've used it for worms and jigs too, but have since gone to either braid or fluoro on those techniques.  there's not a single moving bait i wouldn't fish with big game.
