I am looking to add a good all around spinning rod and a good all around crank bait and jerk bait rod. What would be some good options. Between 100 to 150 each would be best for me.

At $100 I would look into the Duckett Ghost line of rods, they are great rods, very sensitive and light. Sort of in the middle of your price range ($120) I would look into the Mojo Bass. These are high quality rods that are technique specific, and they are backed by a great warranty from St. Croix. For $150 my pic would definitely have to be the Daiwa Tatula. These rods absolutely amazing, you can feel everything your bait comes over and they absolutely will not break. If you want to spend a little more on your rods, these are the ones to go with.

I hope giving you a few options helps you out. I own all of these rods and I can say you won't be disappointed with any of them.

TW has both spinning & casting Okuma C3-40X's on sale for $130. I have the MH-F spin paired with a president 6930 spooled with 15lb. PP. Light incredibly sensitive and durable have caught lots of bass and chain pickerel with it on a variety of soft plastics, lots of good reviews.

Good suggestions. If I needed a new cranking rod right now, I'd probably go with the Ghost. I've handled them in store and thought they felt great. My current cranking rid is the St. Croix Mojo Bass 6'10" M/M, and I like it a lot too.

Dobyns Fury 705cb for cranks, and a 703sf for all around spinning rod.

I used to use Fenwick HMG rods and they performed well for throwing both jerkbaits and crankbaits.

This year I'm making the switch to Daiwa and getting a dedicated glass rod for cranks (S Series) and a medium action rod for jerkbaits (Tatula)....hoping I'll be able to feel more.
