Quick question!

I Have 3 rods; a 6'6 MF, a 6'6 Medium Heavy & a 6'9 Medium Light spinning rod.

I've been throwing worms on the MF and ned rig on the ML. What do you guys recommend overall for all three rods? I"m having a tough time trying to decide what I should dedicate to each rod.

I would suggest you use lures with the rod that matches its weight range. Also keep what line you have in mind when you make that decision. You got most of the spectrum covered with that though.

I run 10lb mono on the MF, 20lb PowerPro to a 6# Seaguar Fluoro leader on the ML and 30lb powerpro to a 12lb fluoro.

ML: Finesse, especially soft plastics

M: Everything within the weight guidelines

MH; Heavy lures and stronger presentations. Mostly jigs, spinnerbail, buzzbait and big worms.

Another thing to keep in mind are the hooks that are on your baits. If you are using a bait with treble hooks, you do not need a heavier action rod. If your throwing a bait with a single hook (worm, jig, buzzbait) you'll need more power to drive home a single hook. Im basically reiterating what roadwarrior said because he is right.
