I am somewhat new to using a Baitcaster. I have been using an old Baitcaster for a little while now and decided it's time for a new one. I fish for fun so I am not looking to buy many different rods and reels. I just need one all around baitcaster combo for bass fishing. Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum.  A 6'6" to 7" MF or MHF would be considered a good all-around rod.  Lure size and cover would help determine the correct power for you.  Do you fish from shore or a boat?  A shorter rod is better if there are any obstacles that would interfere with a casting stroke.  Budget is also important for making suggestions.

Yes good tips. I generally like longer rods from fishing from the shore as I can cast out farther? Maybe Im incorrect on this statement. For my all purpose set up I had a 7'2" MH fast tip using a 6.3:1 gear ratio real and 14-16 test fluro carbon line.
