I'm going to spend a few months using copolymers only . Give it a true shot and see if I like it . I've been using yozuri hybrid and I enjoy it but I want to use the best and I'm not familiar with the brands in that category ... I'd like to pitch , fish topwaters , Texas rigs , and reaction Baits on this line . In the 12-17 lb category and memory/cast ability/Abraision resistance are major issues for me .

It seems like Mccoy is another one that people really like. Based on what I've read it appears Yozuri and Mccoy are the top 2.

I prefer izorline xxx it's a very good line. It sinks like Fluoro and has very little stretch , less then all the Fluoro I've tried. Trying to break the 15lb is like trying to break braid.

I haven't tried many copolymer lines, but my favorite is the yo-zuri.  Just make sure to stay away from the P-line floroclear.  It has more memory and more stretch than any other line that I've tried.

You could add Silver Thread AN40 and Excalibur to that list.  I seriously want to try McCoy and Yo-Zuri, but it would have to be a small spool as I have 3000 yard spools of AN40 in my 2 favorite line sizes.  I've also got some XXX to try.  So many good lines...so little time left.

Another vote for Silver Thead. I use 6# AN40 on my spinning reels and The X caliber on one bait caster. I never have line twist on the spinning reels and it casts like a rocket. Here's some info

Silver Thread AN40 was developed with the stealth approach in mind. Designed with an incredibly small diameter, this line can really cover the distance. The AN40 formula is very limp and supple, making it a favorite among fishermen. If you require long casts and low underwater visibility to get close to the fish, look no further than AN40. Available in original silver and low-visibility green.

Yards LB Test Average Diameter
300 4 .0070 in
300 6 .0086 in
300 8 .0100 in
300 10 .0112 in
275 12 .0128 in
275 14 .0136 in

You owe it to your self to try the Gamma copolymer! IMO it is the best!

I've had good luck with Pline C21. It's cheap and does everything I need it to do.

Well, although I am a big fan of Yo-Zuri Hybrid, I think you will really like Izorline XXX, too!

I'm sorry, what was your question? Best Co poly?? All the lines mentioned above are good. . . . And very similar. Nothing really sets one apart from another. So best is very subjective

What about it? I've used YZ, ST, Gamma and McCoy. I bet if I handed you the same 4 set ups with these 4 different lines all in the same pound test - You and many others wouldn't know which is which. Just sayin
