Don't chop onions during final home stand pregame ceremonies.

Would they be playing in this rain if the series aren't so important? Working on the mound so diligently every inning usually means a rain delay.

Not sure how the game is going to end up but Bautista does not want any more of Odor.

Sox aren't hitting, definitely not fielding, and the pitching isn't so great either. Looks like the last six games of the season were an indicator of how things were gonna go.

Ortiz is swinging at everything. Yikes. Holt should have been swapped out after his mistakes tonight. I'm not giving up, just frustrated.

Watching the last two Red Sox games has been Frustrating & Very Painful ~

I have enjoyed watching them All Season - I did not however find anything remotely pleasant about their most recent performances.

As a Clevelander I have to say that I absolutely love the way the Red Sox are playing right now!

The Rangers are getting killed.  Their 2 "aces" are getting shelled and the offense can't hit with RISP.  Going to have to take 2 in Tor, which won't be easy.

Man, Jon Lester is tough in the Post Season. Why can't the Sox get a guy like that?!?!...oh, wait a minute.

Better leave the bottles corked for now, does 2007 ALCS ring a bell?

Just joking with you. The Indians were certainly prepared the first 2 games and I do think your manager is out managing the Sox. Again, why can't the Sox get a manager like that?!?!

Somebody throw a beer at this guy.

From everything I heard, their best pitchers all got injured late in the season. I didn't pay much attention to other teams like I normally do but kluber pitched lights out and the first guy pitched just okay. Both made the bosox look foolish though.

Buccholz will be the stopper after most people wrote him off, including me. Go figure. This is when having John lackey at a league minimum woulda been great.

When you're emergency relieve pitcher (Cubs) is hitting Playoff HR's - you know you're on a good roll.

I don't have a dog in the fight anymore since the Royals couldn't make it to the playoffs for the third year in a row, so I think I'll be routing for the Cubs to win it. It felt great getting the monkey off our back last year after the 30 year drought, I'd love for the Cubs fans to get that 500lb gorilla of their backs.

They won the world series last year. You already forgot?

Edit* knee jerk reaction to first sentence without reading the rest. Scratch that.

I think you misread my post. I'm a Royals fan, but since they're out, I'll be routing for the Cubs to finally shake their curse. Believe me, I'll never forget the Royals winning the World Series. Being a sports fan in KC is rough. The Chiefs haven't been to the Super Bowl in my lifetime (and no prospects of that changing anytime in the near or far future), K-State hasn't ever won a championship in any sport that matters since I've been alive, and until the 2014-2015 seasons, the Royals were basically all the real teams farm club.

The TBS announcers are boring and they criticize the redsox almost as much as that hack Joe buck. Why are the national coverage guys always so terrible?

The whole TBS broadcast is terrible, from the announcers to the graphics they put on the screen.

I don't know why they feel the need to buy the rights for postseason baseball. Gotta be about the ad $$$. It's uninspired and awful. ESPN would be better but you won't see them doing postseason anytime soon.

Also, and this may just be my eyes or my TV, but it's hard to distinguish the yellow from white on their outs graphic and the diamond graphic.

Wow, Mad Bum is actually looking human in a playoff game.

The Sox also seemed uninspired and awful. No starting pitching to speak of, whisper quiet bats (mostly), and crap defense when it truly mattered.

The Sox ran out of gas despite playing well for most of the season. What moves are gonna fix a great team just getting tired?

Managerial change.

You really think so? I didn't play sports in any organized sense when I was younger so maybe I'm missing something but how much impact does a coach really have , not being on the field making plays?

Seems like in all sports the coach is always the first to go when there is an issue with no tangible solution. I certainly think the manager has a big effect of how the players perform on the field, but I think it takes a lot less to get them fired then they can actually control.
