I've been a Yankee fan since I was a kid.  Still am.  Went to college in Baltimore and lived there for 10 years after that and loved going to Memorial Stadium and Camden Yards.  So glad to the O's doing well.

This only goes to show what happens when you neglect your farm system. Decades ago the Orioles farm clubs were second to none. And they were perennial contenders. Stocking good talent fell by the wayside until Elias came to town, after doing the same with the Astros. Now they have young stars and prospects galore. And it’s bearing fruit.

I only wish Joe Angel was there to call the games. He deserved all those “and we’ll be back with the lovely totals” he’s missing this season.

Orioles trade for A"s pitcher, for the bullpen.

I'm convinced the best playoff spot is the 3rd wildcard so you can play the winner of the AL Central

Oh absolutely and just so everyone is aware, if that team is the Twins, they are currently riding an 18 game post season losing streak which goes back to 2004.  Its the longest losing streak in any of the four major professional sports, ever.  :dazed-7:

Rodriguez rose to the occasion and we spanked McClanahan.

O’s take three of four from the Rays and open a 2-game lead in the AL East. Best record in the American League and 2nd in all MLB. To be brutally honest, I truly never thought they would catch up to Tampa at all. At least not until maybe September. Before the end of July after the Rays started 13-0? That’s an accomplishment!

You kiddin’? I just hoped they’d play .500 ball. LOL! They only have *** game series left with the Rays and needed to make the most of this series. We still have a ways to go, but I like our chances.

I live about 45 minutes N of Minute Maid Park. I’d love to go to the O’s-‘Stros game, but don’t know if I can handle the heat!

I found out the roof should be closed. I’m seriously considering going to a game. I’ve never seen my home team in another ballpark. It’s about time!
