throttleplate Posted March 30, 2024 Posted March 30, 2024 where is @gimruis? MLB needs the fashion police to solve this problem. The Washington Nationals and MLB still cant match the color of the pants and jerseys. Ā 1 Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted April 10, 2024 Super User Posted April 10, 2024 The fact that MLB is rolling with these uniforms, and also denying that there is any issue with them, is insane. Rob Manfraud is such a joke of a commissioner. 2029 canāt come soon enough.Ā 2 Quote

throttleplate Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Orioles having a great season to date, but we just last week lost starting pitcher Kyle Bradish to tommy john surgery along with starting pitcher John Means and Tyler wells all TJ surgery. Our best lefty reliever Danny Columbe had surgery to remove bone chips in his elbow and might be back in Sept. Play on and hope to hang on and see what happens at the trade deadline. 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 25, 2024 Super User Posted June 25, 2024 The kids at Fenway are making things interesting. Currently in a wildcard position...Buuuut the rumor is that they will be sellers at the deadline...Way to raise ticket prices this season only to bail on the current team John Henry. 2 Quote

He swung and missed on Billy Beane after Oaklandās low payroll successes. Ā Years later after seeing the TB Rays successes, he hires Chaim Bloom.Ā Ā Personally, I think heās in the wrong market for that.Ā Ā GO SOX 1 Quote

Super User gim Posted July 17, 2024 Super User Posted July 17, 2024 The Cleveland Guardians have to be the biggest surprise at the halfway point. Iām watching the all star game and it was posted that they have the best record in the American League. Ā Didnāt realize that the Phillies had 8 all stars either. Thatās impressive. Quote
throttleplate Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 Last year 2023 this thread was busy with braves fans and myself, this year pretty dead. Last year the Orioles were winning many games in late inning come backs, this year we are just an average team with a good record but playing .500 ball since the all star break. My excitement has been neutered due to looosing 3 starting pitchers to tommy john surgery which has derailed the team and just limping along. The only reason the Orioles are tied for first with the Yankees is because the Yanks are playing just as bad as the Orioles. 1 Quote
NavyToad Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 @throttleplateĀ Spot on. We're fading fast. We might make the playoffs, but beyond that I think we're toast.Ā 1 Quote

Super User BrianMDTX Posted September 28, 2024 Super User Posted September 28, 2024 I gotta give props to the Tigers. 0.4% chance of making the postseason in August and here they are. First time since 2014. They may be last yearās Rangers. A hot ballclub on a roll.Ā 2 Quote
Super User J._Bricker Posted September 28, 2024 Super User Posted September 28, 2024 Ahhhh, Iāve got nothing other than a little bitternessā¦.. Nothing to say about a game I enjoyed and shared with my family over the decades. A blue collar city that in the 70ās was the proud major sports capital of the United States with the World Champion Aās, the World Champion Warriors, and the World Champion Raiders. All gone from the city of passionate sports fans where Oaklandās professional teams embodied everything is earned, nothing was given.Ā Ā I didnāt watch any baseball on TV or take my family to out to the ballpark this season. The last game we went to was last yearās first reverse boycott game which had no effect on MLB or team ownership. Ā Going forward good luck to my fellow BR members and your teams. 1 Quote
