Scherzer….yikes.

After tonight we know he's not healthy.    Buck should have pulled him before he got truly embarrassed, and honestly a mark on his record that will be remembered.   You don't get paid 40mil plus and then blow the two biggest starts they paid you for.

Sure he's a gamer, and I respect that....but he's too much of a gamer, he likely BS'd Buck into letting him go, or Buck is burying his head in the sand hoping a healthy Max pitches.    Just look at the velo off the bats tonight from a team that hasn't been known for squaring up the ball.

He and the front office share more blame than in the past recent history, they managed to blow a 300mil roster, and a 101 win team.    Trade moves cost them dearly.

I’d root for Russia if they were up against ATL

The only time I’ve ever pulled for the Yankees was the 96 World Series haha

Meanwhile, the Mariners pulled off the biggest comeback win in Major League playoff history, sweeping Toronto and moving on to their next victim.  :)

I suspect the game is going to be significantly delayed.   When it rains where I'm at, ATL is almost always right behind, and radar confirms it.

I almost hope they start the game, then it pours enough for the starters to get pulled, and it becomes a bullpen game.    We excel in those, and it burns the Philles ace for the series.

They really screwed us yesterday with the noon game.....that's the Braves kryptonite this year it seems.  This is advantageous for the Braves.

I’ve been watching the Braves since I was a toddler (thank god for TBS) and as long as i can remember, day games seem to be tough for them. When I saw that noon start time, my heart sank. The longer the delay, the better today.

Fun Fact, I live in the same town that Ian Anderson is from (and Kevin Huerter of NBA), and my girlfriend went to the same high school as him, 2 years ahead of him.

That's very cool, and I really liked Ian......if he just could have started games in the second inning instead of the first.

Admittedly it took some maturation on my part to see the beauty of baseball, and develop a love for the Braves.   I've been a heavy fan for 5 or 6 years, but before that had little interest.   Ironically now I don't really have any interest in other sports outside of boxing or MMA.

It's so nice having a Braves game to look forward to during the summer months especially.

I agree. Pitchers duels are my favorite to watch. Real nail biters.

As Harris just missed a home run to left.

I thought it was gone off the bat.    At this rate Wheeler could pitch a complete game.  I think Wright is going to have come out after the 7th

49 pitches through 5…yeah that’s just what the Phillies need. Braves gotta start getting longer at bats and get that pitch count up.

100%.....been their Achilles heel all year....the K and not being able to hit for contact and work counts.

Wright is getting stronger knock on wood
