Frustrating as it was they went up against the ‘stros and trolley dodgers and probably wanted to spot everyone in the division a few games ? 1 Quote

In 2019 the Sounds moved to the Rangers organization and are currently associated with the Brewers Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted May 20, 2021 Super User Posted May 20, 2021 Been a Life Long Boston Red Sox fan, through the thick and the seriously long thin years. This years team has been winning a few games but the best part is that they are playing a brand of ball this season that I have enjoyed quite a bit so far.  And on a super high note, the Team announced on Monday that Fenway will follow the state’s re-opening plan and be at full capacity as of May 29. (close to 38,000) That means the Red Sox could potentially play in front of a full house against the Marlins on May 29 and 30, the final two games of their next homestand, marking the first time Fenway has been eligible to host that many fans since the end of the 2019 season. Be interested to see if the Fenway management group Mails ALL of those zany Cardboard Cut Outs to the fans that paid for them. I know I'd want mine back - they weren't exactly cheap . . . Go Sox ! What is up with the Twins? Their season is swirling around the toilet bowl and making it's way to the stink pipe. Very surprising considering the expectations this year.  Earlier this year when they were playing the Sox, they were in a close game and Donaldson didn't play that day. One of the comments made by an analyst was that Baldelli was handcuffed b/c he couldn't ask Donaldson to PH, is that true? Quote

Their pitching is atrocious. For a while, Miguel Sano literally had the WORST batting average in the entire league for any player that was in the starting lineup on a regular basis. Buxton was going quite well but he's hurt now which is not a surprise.  I think the biggest issue is that the rest of the division simply got better and the Twins didn't. For the last several seasons, the only real competition in their division was Cleveland. KC and Detroit were two of the worst teams in the entire league. Its not like that anymore, the rest of the division is certainly improved and the Twins are still the same team, with worst pitching. I think they may lose 90-100 games this season.  I don't watch a lot of baseball but I listen to the local sports radio station on KFAN and this is what is being reported. They are usually pretty accurate too. I thought, in a clearly mad moment, that I would leave home at 22.30 and be at my starting spot on the river for midnight and the first cast of the season. At 04.30 I had a my first bite, a modest fish and a couple of casts later a small one. That was it. No more fishy interest at all. By 11am the following morning I was wiped out and threw the boat back on the trailer and drove home straight to bed for the rest of the day. I'm definitely not 18 anymore. ? 1 Quote
hokiehunter373 Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 What a beautiful series that was for the Sox ? Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted July 15, 2021 Super User Posted July 15, 2021 Second half of the season starts today which means it’s time for clubs to buy or sell.  The Sox were big sellers last year and should be spenders this year with their surprise 1st place record to date.  I’m guessing another arm for the hill and an outfielder for the wall.  What’s your team need? 1 Quote
