BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted March 22, 2016 BassResource.com Administrator Posted March 22, 2016 It's that time again ladies and gents...the sights, the smells, the binge drinking when your team is mathematically eliminated from the post season by the All Star break. Spring training is here, and there are a lot of big changes on many clubs. Who do you have this year? What prospects are going to contribute to their respective big league team? Who are this year's sleepers? What players are going to boom? Who is going to bust? With all that said, Play ball!!! 1 Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted March 22, 2016 Super User Posted March 22, 2016 I have very low (zero) expectations for my Braves! 2 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted March 22, 2016 Super User Posted March 22, 2016 Finally! I've been waiting all winter for fishing and baseball to start. It's great how they start around the same time here in the northeast. My Braves are going to be terrible, but it's to be expected as long as they are in rebuild mode. My fantasy drafts are all complete, let's go opening day! 1 Quote
Jd_Phillips_Fishin Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I'm hoping Houston can have another good year like they had last year Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted March 24, 2016 Super User Posted March 24, 2016 After going to the WS and losing, then going right back and taking the the WS the very next year, I can't believe how poorly they are projecting KC to do. I bleed blue, so I'm keeping my pick at home. Go KC Blue!!! Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted April 2, 2016 Super User Posted April 2, 2016 That picture is now my desktop background. Thanks! 1 Quote
Dyerbassman Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Everyone is picking the Cubs to finally win it all. That scares me. But with all that talent, they will be fun to watch. Let's go Cubs! 1 Quote
Buckeye Ron Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Wait...people still watch baseball? Just kidding!! Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted April 7, 2016 Super User Posted April 7, 2016 The last year of Turner Field. I've been to 3 games there. All against the Nats in '05. Thats a nice shot of the stadium. 1 Quote

Super User buzzed bait Posted April 9, 2016 Super User Posted April 9, 2016 haha check this out @Jar11591 ... we were talking about this at the game on wednesday http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/braves-pitcher-just-as-confused-as-you-about-his-wacky-delivery-231928802.html 1 Quote

My first thought was "you have got to be kidding me". That is who the Braves have on their ML roster? haha I guess if he gets outs that's all that matters. But that is one funky delivery. The Braves had another reliever a couple years ago, Jordan Walden, who also had a weird delivery. He would kind of hop in the air as he pushed off the mound. 1 Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted April 16, 2016 Super User Posted April 16, 2016 Wow. I knew the Braves were going to be bad, but I couldn't have imagined they would be this terrible. This is un-watchable. I feel like I am watching a little league team. Good thing its a full schedule tonight. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted May 8, 2016 Super User Posted May 8, 2016 I want to see the winners of this years LLWS vs the current roster for the Atlanta Braves. My money is on the little leaguers. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 Anyone see the Rangers-Jays brawl? One of the greatest things I have seen in baseball. Bautista has had it coming for a long time, and someone finally did it! 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 So awesome, Bautista bowed up to the wrong guy. 2 Quote

Epic doesn't even begin to describe how nuts that was. I wonder how many games Odor gets. Bautista will get nothing..except an overdue black eye/jaw ache 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 Yeah, I'm pretty curious to see how this all shakes out. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 Looks like Odor got a shot in on that punk Donaldson too. lol 1 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 I think Odor, Bush, Bautista, Donaldson, and Chavez will all get suspended, but obviously Odor's is gonna be the harshest. I am thinking at least 5 games but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more. Although its a tough call considering Machado a couple years ago only served 5 games for hitting the catcher with his bat twice, then attempting to throw his bat at the pitcher but instead throwing it at the 3rd baseman.....who happened to be Donaldson lol 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 I think Odor will probably get 3-5 games. He has a history of having a short fuse in situations like this. I don't know how they will punish the other guys. Gibbons was also already ejected from the game and came back on the field, I'm sure he will get fined. 1 Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted May 16, 2016 Super User Posted May 16, 2016 Totally worth the suspension. Couldn't have happened to nicer guys. Lol 2 Quote
