Feats Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Is there anyone on the forum that can provide the information to be able to fish Lake Linganore, i.e. , cost for permits (boat &trailer), etc. I have a friend that lives on the lake but is not a fisherman. I believe that I would be able to fish the lake as his guest, but would have to have the permits (stickers for boat & trailer) through him. Fishing fanatic, litlfeat Quote
MARsSPEED Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Good Afternoon! Permits are only $40 for the year, electric motors only. I do not know what documents are needed. Here is a link below: https://www.lakelinganore.org/member-services/ Linganore is a great fishery. I don't have a place to keep a boat but really wish I did... Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 22, 2016 Super User Posted March 22, 2016 No info for ya, just a welcome to the forums! Quote
newbiedmv Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Don't waste your time on it. I live close and remember when linganore creek was damed up. For the most part the entire lake is silted in. Also it is private and they take it very seriously. There are much better places all around frederick from trout to bass to catfish. Blackhills park (seneca creek) is or was a trophy bass lake. That's excelent if you can get to the back end of it. Quote
