Horseshoe crazy Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I purchased a XTM 9 20 T transducer to epoxy to the hull. I watched a you tube video and it looks like a one shot deal. Does anyone have any experience installing one? What kind of epoxy should I purchase? I'm worried I'm gonna get some air bubbles in the epoxy. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted March 20, 2016 Super User Posted March 20, 2016 Why did you get a trolling motor puck with temp sensor to use for a shoot-thru?? The XP 9 20 T is the proper one for shoot-thru and has a remote temp sensor for water temp. It comes with the proper slow cure epoxy. I'll send you a link how to PROPERLY install a shoot-thru. Quote
Horseshoe crazy Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 Is the one I purchased going to work or should I return it? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted May 29, 2016 Super User Posted May 29, 2016 It will give you depth and hull temperature if that is what you want. Quote
