Need Fish Finder.

Im looking for a new finder wit at least 9 inch screen or bigger. Need any ad vise please. I bass and crappie fish only. Well occasionally catfish. I never fish the rivers only lakes. What is a good stup for me?

$1000 budget. I want at least 9inch or bigger screen . Witch is better sonar or radar. Like I said I never fish rivers only lakes. I would like to have one with maps technology.

Humminbird units for 30 years. Bought one of the Side Finder units 10 years ago. And will tell you it will open up an all new world for your fishing. Plus the Helix unit 9 and up units allow you to make your own Contour maps. Heres what it allows you to find.

Nice when you find a bait ball, but better when you can see the fish feeding on the bait.

Or find an old road bed, that also has bass on the beds by it also.

Also not sure what you would want Radar for? But the Helix units can support Radar. That way you can watch that storm heading your way.

What is the difference between 9 si or the 9 di. What is si and di?

I just got the 999ci hd si kid model  from humminbird factory outlet online for 799. And come with the hd transducer. It is a refurbished model but for the price I could not pass it up.

I think I will go with the Hummingbird 9 SI. Good ole Bass Pro.
