Does anyone use Marvel Mystery Oil as an additive? Do you put it in your gasoline or engine oil? Will this do about the same as Sea Foam? I went to buy Sea Foam yesterday but this seemed to be quite a bit cheaper. My brother was with me and he swears by MMO but he doesn't own a boat, lol, just uses it in his truck and tractor and says tons of people swear by it.

I have never used an additive but my '97 Tracker (Mercury Marine) motor is running a bit rough.

I use MMO but I am running a 250 Yamaha SH, four stroke.  The reason I use it, I never know when alcohol is being used to increase the octane of the fuel I am using.  I use it to simply add lubrication to the alcohol as alcohol is dry  Have no idea if it is beneficial, but I feel comfortable doing so..

I use Mercury premium plus synthetic oil in my 2004 Mercury 90 HP 2 stroke. I also use Quicksilver (Mercury) fuel additives for handling the Ethanol. I use Stage 1 every tank to treat the Ethanol and Stage 2 every few months to clean the fuel system. It works well for me.

Good of luck and tight lines,

Pete

I was just at a Dollar General (dollar store) and wow, the Marvel was $3.50! I think I paid $5.50 at Advance Auto Parts recently. If Marvel is good for boat motors, that is cheap!

If you ever find SeaFoam at that price buy all they have in stock, lol
