Fishwhittler Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Here's the rest of the big batch of cranks I was working on. The pics aren't the greatest, but the camera's acting up and these are the best I could get. Pic #1: Five walking baits, and a popper. I hope the popper walks as well, but if it doesn't it will still throw out a big splash. Pic #2: The middle bait is a Poe's crank (not sure what size number, but the body is 2 5/8" long) with a lexan bill. The old bill was cracked, so I removed it and used it as a template for the new bill. For reference, the "Red Razor Craw" bait on the lower left is 2 1/4" long not counting the bill. Pic #3: A new lipless bait I built. 3" long, weight 1 ounce. Let me know what you think! Ben Quote
Go Time Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Are you retired? Because you seem to have the time to turn out a lot of nice baits! I like them all. The design on that popper looks great, not sure about the purple though... Quote
Stringjam Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Nice - - I really dig that dark blue lipless! Quote
BobP Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 You always have some distinctive designs. Keep'em coming! Quote

Super User Sam Posted January 23, 2011 Super User Posted January 23, 2011 Beautiful work. Congrats on producing such a fine school of baits. Are you going to put a feather treble hook on any? Quote
Fishwhittler Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. 8-) Sam, I'm not going to put feathered trebles on any of these. Quote
