Nathan Burton Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I'm looking at investing in a nice loomis crankbait Rod (E6x). I was wondering if they always run the standard 179.99 or if anywhere ever runs discounts on them? Quote
Molay1292 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 American Legacy Fishing is the place. Sign up for their news letter. 3 Quote

EllisJuan Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 American Legacy is awesome. If you want a deal on IMX, GLX, or NRX look at Outdoor Pro Shop 1 Quote
David Whitaker Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Haven't found anywhere that's sells them for less. They might be like Abu Garcia where they have set prices across the board. Although Tackle Warehouse usually has a lot of discounts store wide every now and again. Quote

If you have a Gander Mountain that has them in stock you can get $30 off til the 19th with reel/rod trade. Get your hands on one if possible. I was going to get the 893 e6x but with a CI4 on it was rather tip heavy, balance was about 3" in front of the reel. Quote

Outdoor Pro Shop sells IMX, GLX, and NRX for ~30% under MSRP. 2 Quote

blckshirt98 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 G.Loomis best place to buy is used on a fishing forum somewhere since the warranties transfer! But brand new, you won't see them on sale unless they're on closeout, just one of those brands that are always on exception lists. If you need one brand new the only way you'll really save money is going to one of the sites that re-sell gift cards (like Cardpool has BPS cards for 16.5% off). Go buy gift cards until you can cover the rod you're looking for (that they have in stock) and pay for it with the gift cards. Quote

I have bought 5 rods from them in the last few months...I was not completely happy with one of them (GLX 873 CBR was a little soft for my application) and they let me exchange it no questions. Quote
