Hinkle2891 Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 I recently bought the booyah! boogee bait (ya know, the one with the wacky blade, with all the flashiness of a spinnerbait but with the "big fish attractant" of a jig) and i was wondering how i should fish it? slow like a jig, or medium speed like a spinnerbait? Super User dodgeguy Posted May 21, 2007 Super User Posted May 21, 2007 you tie a palomar knot right to the snap. Quote
linesider7 Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 ok, so we are tied on... now what? Cast and retrieve. Don't ask me what happens when you feel a bump, still trying to figure that one out. Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted May 22, 2007 Super User Posted May 22, 2007 set the hook.they don't hit these things lightly.they either smash them or ignore them. Quote
Super User Marty Posted May 22, 2007 Super User Posted May 22, 2007 These baits can be fished in a variety of ways. My personal preference is to fish them like I do a spinnerbait, fairly high in the water column and over and through weeds. Quote
