clh121787 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I have the bigger one it's really a good cheaper glide that catches fish. Works wells in mid range depth s 5 to 10 foot range. Whenever my lesser experienced friends go with me and want to throw swimbaits baits they get the shine glides, and s wavers instead of the Hinkles and 250s. It really shines on 17 pound flouro any bigger it starts to get dull 1 Quote
RyneB Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I used mine late in the year before ice on, only threw it a couple casts. It has good action, and I imagine it will catch fish. Quote
ACORO Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Swims very good. Hard to beat the price to....it does helicopter on the cast but other then that they are worth getting especially if your starting to get into big baits. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 15, 2016 Global Moderator Posted March 15, 2016 I really like the bait. Should have caught a very nice fish on it if I hadn't pulled a rookie mistake and forgotten to check my knot after I tied it on. Still, I've managed to catch quite a few and it does have a nice glide and I really like the profile. I either haven't had the helicoptering issues, or I just haven't noticed it. I've had the best luck fishing mine up high in the water color, almost like a fleeing baitfish. I use 20lb Big Game with mine. The big fish that I screwed up on. 1 Quote
bigbassin' Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 Awesome thanks for the replies. Being in Florida, that shiner profile really got my interest. Quote
