Just saw this video pop up on Facebook over the weekend. It looks like quite the contraption. Apparently it was thought up and designed by a 15 year old. They're going for $99 a piece on their website and you're limited to two per customer. I think this is another straight up gimmick, but what do you guys think?

I think I rather spend $100 on quality lures. Stuff like this comes along and some people will sware by it but in reality it's a waste of money imo.

Now, if that sucker works, that will take the cake. They may have to make them illegal, lol.

So it's a Hydrowave deal . . . .

They all seems very excited about it and also said "I need to get me one . . . "

Ahhh, I understand how this works.  You go out on the water to fish, and when you find an area where the fishing is good, you throw this jug out on the water and then film a commercial.

Kind of scary really... do realize what could happen if you used your Ronco Pocket Fisherman to cast a mule-rigged Banjo Minnow/Helicopter Lure next to a floating Fishcall?  I shudder at the thought.

Tight lines,

Bob

A Hydrovawve mini is $110 and a full H2 package is over $400 so there will be those who will buy that. I thought the same thing with the Hydrowave but guys are getting them.

Yeah that kind of technology (Hydrowave) sure helped KVD during last weeks Classic.....

I wasted an entire summer of my youth fishing the Helicopter. Never again...

Lol, you're not the only one!  Can't say the same about the Banjo though, I never used them much but my dad caught a ton of fish on Banjo Minnows. He would work them like any other soft jerkbait and used to kill the bass on 'em.  Now the "Walking Worm" on the other hand.........

Looks like they're fishing down in Venice, LA.  That is some of the best fishing literally in the world, with or without a magic bobber :)

I think Edwin Evers was fishing over one of those in the classic though, not!

Banjo minnow..First segmented swimbait ever created and first to be Nose Hooked...They worked great, because they are a soft jointed swimbait and if they were never on TV, they would be a top seller today on TW if under zoom etc...they still are a top selling fishing item especially the kit overall in the world on Wordwide tackle websites....They fixed up the funky colors, I would fish them If I saw them on the shelf somewhere, they were legit, there would be no Lake Fork Magic swimmer etc. if not for the Banjo Minnow...

This is true, but at least with the Hydrowave, the speaker for it actually underwater. This looks like it's being broadcast into the air above the unit. Also, Hydrowave seems to have a little more science behind their units. Not saying they work, or that I'm a believer of them, but at least they provide a little more to buy into instead of "launch giant jug to where you think the fish are and start catching them" haha.

I'm thinking like the DeLorean in those "Back to the Future" movies you would go back in time and date your mother.
