wv1755 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I've been using 8 pound red label flouro on the ned rig. When I spooled the line I put KVD line conditioner on & I made sure I put the line on in the same direction that it came off the spool. I keep getting twists in my reel. Any suggestions? Quote
Allen Der Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 get a better line. red label is best suited as leader material not main line. Quote
LunkerFisher Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Sunline fc sniper is the best fluoro I've used to date, with Trilene 100% coming in at 2nd 1 Quote
Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted March 12, 2016 Super User Posted March 12, 2016 The man himself said to use braid for the ned rig so change to 10# braid and use your Fluoro for a leader and line twist worries are mostly unlikely. 1 Quote
rawjuice Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Myself and many others have used red label with great success, I've come to the realization that most people that have had issues with it was just user error. Maybe you did spool correctly, or maybe not. Try letting the majority of your line out on the water(no lures or anything on), then reel it all back on. Red label is great line once you get it right. Good luck! Quote
spoolinx Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 +1 for FC Sniper I usually use InivizX til I switched to Sunline FC Sniper. A buddy recommended the Red label and swore it was just as good, but I'm never doing that again. I still use InvizX for my spinning gear, but FC Sniper for my casting setups. Quote
