Joey Bass Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I heard somewhere that its quality over quantity... Well, that is good because I've caught just two fish the last few days. However, both have been great size around here. This one is 5 pounds 2 ounces, just under 21" long (The other was 5 lb 6 oz). I caught this on a texas rigged trick worm (Watermelon seed) using my spinning reel with 15 lb braid. 5 Quote

Congrats First off, thanks for the compliment. BUT...like most of you, I assume, I ALWAYS feel like I am not doing well enough and I should be catching something on every cast I will admit that it has helped with the confidence. If one of you would have posted two 5 lb+ catches in Illinois I would have said "what the...." So thanks and let's get that next pig! 2 Quote
