Joey Bass Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 What are your thoughts on the KVD Sexy Dawg Jr in comparison to other jerkbaits? I haven't used any in the past and bought the Sexy Dawg Jr the other day and used for a few minutes after work. Definitely need to work on the technique but was hoping to hear some feedback on some of the jerkbaits you all are using or any opinions on this particular one. Quote
blckshirt98 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I think you mean other topwater/spook type of baits? Quote
Scarborough817 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 never used the jr but the full size one works well for me its actually the only spook I own because I have so much confidence in it Quote

Super User ChrisD46 Posted March 10, 2016 Super User Posted March 10, 2016 The KVD Sexy Dawg Jr. is a fine top water walk the dog type bait and is fairly easy to get walk the dog results from ... A google search will turn up reviews and tactics galore on this lure ! You can find easily at WM - I would suggest two colors to start : 1 . A Sexy Dawg Jr. with a white opaque bottom color and 2 . Sexy Dawg Jr. with a shad color almost transparent bottom coloration . If you really want to splurge a chrome bottom coloration would be the trifecta ! ... A white bottom Sexy Dawg Jr. can be used in most conditions while the transparant color bottom is best in very clear water while the chrome color version can be quite good on sunny days . Further reading will advise more on the colors I recommended (they are staples of all walk the dog type top water lures). 1 Quote
LunkerFisher Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Sexy dawg is alright, but I have had most success with the Yamamoto Tate pencil Quote
