Check out "Stoked On Fishing" on YouTube.  The guys are great and incredibly knowledgeable.  Record fish starts at 15:08, enjoy!

Ahhh, I had really no idea about how to weigh a "record" fish.  Do you know why they wouldn't like it weighed on a boat, even when the water is calm?

Not on land.  A boat is in a liquid enviorment and even if it's calm the boat still moves which could cause the weight to be off.  That was the largest spot, but it got beat a week later by a bigger spot at that lake which was weighted and certified I believe.

Try having to fish against those guys in your local tournaments on the weekends.  I have , they're Lake Casitas masters.  Both of them are insanely good fisherman .  Matt Newman owns IROD fishing  and is a stick.  If you have ever seen the old "big bait posse videos " with the giant swimbaits from 2008, that was him too.
