I've got three Lew's Tournament Pro baitcasting  reels and love them. However, I've got a problem.  I need another reel, but also have a $100 Bass Pro gift card (given to me by my Brother-in-law).  Problem is, I don't have the nerve to tell my wife I didn't use it.  Are there any Bass Pro reels that compare to the Lew's Tournament Pro?  I wouldn't mind kicking in a few extra dollars.

The new Carbonlite is very nice.  I'm sure its no TP, but its no joke of a reel either.  Very nice and easy to tune with the dual brakes that are adjustable from the outside of the reel.  All reels should go to this method imo.  It's smooth and light as a feather.

Im pretty sure i saw lews reels in the last ad i got from bass pro. The gift card should not be limited to just bps brand items i wouldnt think.

Ditto. Apparently the big boys made up and are now playing together again!

I have a gift card as well I can't seem to use but have been on the fence with the Browning Superlight that was 79 and still is I believe, Same specs as the Carbonlight, but I also liked the 59 Browning midas but couldnt find any reviews on them..They felt great, had nice specs, but I just felt like it was not really a 100 dollar reel to begin with...The Superlight feels nice...

Lews are tough to beat especially with the new models priced so competitive...Great reels that feel much better than the price tag says they should...

I bought a BPS Pro Qualifier rod/reel combo last month and now I see why people like the Pro Qualifier... it's a great reel. I am very accurate casting with it for some reason. A few days ago, the PQ reel itself was on sale for $79; normal price is $100. Seems a good bargain even at regular price. I have a Lew's TP and don't notice it having any superiority.

Primetime, I just bought the Superlite on sale and am impressed.  I only have two trips on it so not sure how durable it will be, but it is very smooth both casting and on the retrieve.
