Super User Sam Posted February 27, 2016 Super User Posted February 27, 2016 If the 12Z Saturday European model holds course it has a significant LOW on the morning of MARCH 4 over southeast Virginia with heavy snow for western North Carolina, the western half of Virginia, southeast West Virginia and all of Maryland, Delaware, southeastern third of Pennsylvania and all of New Jersey, New York City and Connecticut. AFTER MARCH 5th winter is over. By that Dave means that the winter of 2015-16 for the Middle Atlantic region, not New England, is over. The coming major weather pattern change kills it. Time will tell. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 28, 2016 Super User Posted February 28, 2016 Bring it! Ready for spring climates! Not the pollen though. Somebody tell mother nature to tone it down this year, eh? I like my white truck to stay white, not yellow Quote
Super User bigbill Posted February 28, 2016 Super User Posted February 28, 2016 Wait I've seen march in the past have snow storms ever four to five days. Till April. remember the snow on Easter Sunday? i hope your right. But never trust Mother Nature. But it would be nice to get the garden in early. The green house too my son maybe will do it. Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 28, 2016 Author Super User Posted February 28, 2016 Bill, you are so right. Here is the latest update this Sunday afternoon: 12Z EUROPEAN ENSEMBLE continues to give off a strong SIGNAL for a lower Middle Atlantic ( nw NC VA MD DEL far s NJ) SNOW March 4. The agreement between the European ensemble and the " regular" European model is very close. Now the LOW is NOT intense or massive and this is NOT going to be massive snow... and we are dealing with March & the strong march Sun angle thing /... but so far so good. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted February 28, 2016 Super User Posted February 28, 2016 Still crossing my fingers this goes away. Definitely do not need any more snow, and had enough rain. I WANT TO FISH!!!!! Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 29, 2016 Super User Posted February 29, 2016 When did it start ? 2 Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted March 4, 2016 Super User Posted March 4, 2016 I remember a few years ago we got 6" of snow in the first week of April. I guarantee it was because someone had a tournament to fish. Didn't prevent me from getting a big gobbler though! 1 Quote
