I had three, sold one, and then bought the reel back from the guy I sold it to a few months later. Fantastic reel for baits 3/8 oz and above, durable, customizable, comfortable (especially on a Zillion rod). 2 Quote
Craiger12 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Absolutely love my old school Zillions. My favorite reels. I have 5 and will never give them up. 2 Quote

Super User webertime Posted February 27, 2016 Super User Posted February 27, 2016 I regret selling my 2. Just a quality piece of equipment. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted February 27, 2016 Super User Posted February 27, 2016 The OG Zillion is one of my favorite reels of all time. All of mine are still in use. Now is a good time to buy some of the used Limited Edition models at a good price, while they are still in great condition. 1 Quote

Delaware Valley Tackle Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 The OG zillion is a workhorse. The new version can't hold a candle to it. 2 Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted February 28, 2016 Super User Posted February 28, 2016 I love my old Zillions crazy crackers. Hard to beat that gear ratio. Quote

DirtyDeuceGoose Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hands down my favorite platform. Palms very well in my hands. If I had to give up all my other platforms but one, the Zillion would be what stayed. Quote
Cgrinder Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Yep. If I ever give up tackle enthusiasm, I'll just have a bunch of OG Zillions. I think one of the reason that we hate on new Daiwa reels is that they got the Zillion so right in so many ways and things since then have been, well, eh. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted February 29, 2016 Super User Posted February 29, 2016 I still have my OG even though it's for sale. It's only to buy a J dream which is still built on the OG frame. I won't be sad if nobody buys it. Plenty of gear ratio and spool options to suite your needs. Quote
