Weld's Largemouth Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It has been a warm winter and we have had a few 50 degree days the past week so I figured I would hit a small pond to see if some dinks would bite. I went in knowing I would not catch anything since its feburary. That's way too early... Usually I catch near the end of March. I was surprised when these little guys bit. It's going to be a good season... And it is coming fast. 2 Quote

River Dave Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It's all about the hit. The feeling of that first tug when it could be almost anything at the other end of the line, that split second before you know it's a dink, that's the most exciting part. Luckily you get that same quick rush no matter what size you're catching, that's the fun part. I'm in Western New York and we're still all frozen up here so I'm jealous of you're little guys, I'd be real happy with those right about now. 1 Quote
