I had a pretty good day out on the water over this past weekend and thought I'd share the story.  I was out fishing with my club on the California Delta.  It was mid morning, water was about 56 degrees and we were fishing behind another boat when I feel a subtle bite.  I set the hook and she comes up and jumps completely out of the water trying to throw the hook.  I'm hoping that she stays down and doesn't come unbuttoned. Then she jumps out of the water two more times and as I get her to the boat she makes a run out of the net.  I get her turned and my partner was able to net her and get her in the boat.  She weighed 8lbs and lives to do battle another day.....
