Super User roadwarrior Posted February 24, 2016 Super User Posted February 24, 2016 Another suggestion for 2016: Fish your new stuff when you are on a good bite. There is no way to judge a lure when the fish aren't biting! This applies to colors also. 11 Quote

BaitMonkey1984 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Interesting I never thought of that. I have a few senkos colors that I have no confidence in (pink, white, red) wonder if I cold get red of them this way. Quote
tbone1993 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Leave your confidence baits at home when you want to try something new, or at least bury them in the bottom of the boat. Quote
RyneB Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Give those pink senkos a chance. I have had my arse handed to me more times than I'd like by non boaters using using a bubblegum senko. Quote

Diff color but same boat. If only mine wasn't still sitting in storage under wraps. Quote
nhpleasantlakebass Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Those bubblegum gum senkos get demolished by lmb in clear water fir me if nothing else seems to work. Its sorta silly till theres a 4 lber eating it Quote
tstraub Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Why are so many guys afraid to throw a pink bait? The way I see it is that I'm trying to impress that big female bass not the other guys in the boat. If she wants pink that's what I'll give her. Tyler 1 Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted February 29, 2016 Author Super User Posted February 29, 2016 Yeah, we all have "confidence" lures, but sometimes with the new stuff it's a random draw. Quote

I have caught my fair share of bass while panfishing with pink plastics, and while drop shotting pink trout worms for walleye. Mostly in the springtime. Definitely give them a shot! Quote
