Super User roadwarrior Posted February 23, 2016 Super User Posted February 23, 2016 Most of the South is threatened, but you Cajuns look like the primary target. Prepare now for later today and especially tonight. Here in Memphis we strong winds (60mph gusts) are in the forecast and 3" of rain, but no tornadoes. We have had a couple of inches the last few days, so flash flooding is expected. Be alert! Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted February 23, 2016 Super User Posted February 23, 2016 yep, gonna get nasty here Quote
atcoha Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 rolled through tonight. Reports of some homes blown away and blown over here around the Pensacola area. It got a little scary at home for awhile. Rain is gone now, wind is still blowing. Hope everyone is alright. Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 24, 2016 Super User Posted February 24, 2016 Storm is heading up to Richmond. We expect high winds and rain between 3 and 8 today. Better than snow and ice. All be safe, not sorry. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted February 24, 2016 Super User Posted February 24, 2016 We have about 1-1/2" to 2" of snow on the ground here. Streets are becoming slick, and the wind is blowing like crazy. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted February 24, 2016 Super User Posted February 24, 2016 We had some freezing rain this morning. Now have 3-4 inches of snow on top of that. Fun driving, if you're into that sort of thing, and don't really have to get somewhere. Quote
XzyluM Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 We got some nasty rain and cooler temperatures. A few tornadoes touched down in surrounding areas and did some damage though. Quote
