Not in these parts, at least not just yet ~ Tomorrow's delightful forecast:

Long duration, high-impact winter storm still on target to affect Northern Lower Michigan tomorrow afternoon through Thursday. There will be 18+ hours of snowfall, with some areas picking up a foot or two or more of snow. Wind profiles are impressive with this system, so at the very least there will be substantial blowing and drifting, and whiteout conditions and near-blizzard conditions at the worst. Updates will follow throughout the day.

Admitting I'm not a fan of that little ground hog varmint.

So, when are you finally going to decide you´ve had enough and move South ? better do it now than in 30 years when you will be older than dirt and not being able to go fishing.

~ Raul, I often pass on these kind of forecasts, and I play around like I'm hating it all but the truth is, I don't (OK - 40 below is no fun - but it's not suppose to be) - My wife & I have a small kennel and Alaskan Malamutes are a bit of a passion for us.  We raise, foster & sled with them and without the cold & snow - it's just not the same.  When we retired (USCG) we Picked this place - snow & all.
