I saw an ad in Bassmaster Magazine for Tauten's Linewelder. It looks to plasti-weld mono and fluorocarbon lines, eliminating tying knots.

Anyone out there have one?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I bet it's an absolute must for the Fropwater Spinnercrank.

Tying knots feels good.  No thanks for now.

I like tying knots but have no confidence in tying a leader. And also curious Its a small connection so could be used with micro guides

I read an article on it a while back. You have to use these pieces of plastic with it. And to me they are too big and the big downfall of the product. You cant use it to attach a leader, and if I remember correctly you will always have a loop knot tied to your bait when using it.

I'll keep my $200 and just tie a knot. Between that and their line cutter, you have to be rich just to attach a bait to your line!
