Super User DogBone_384 Posted February 18, 2016 Super User Posted February 18, 2016 I saw an ad in Bassmaster Magazine for Tauten's Linewelder. It looks to plasti-weld mono and fluorocarbon lines, eliminating tying knots. Anyone out there have one? Thanks in advance for your comments. Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted February 18, 2016 Super User Posted February 18, 2016 saw a thread on it a while back and then it went dark. i also saw it in the magazine the other day and thought i would have heard more about it by now... Quote
nhpleasantlakebass Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 looks like this is on the market now anyone give it a try on a leader knot? Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 12, 2016 Super User Posted July 12, 2016 I bet it's an absolute must for the Fropwater Spinnercrank. Tying knots feels good. No thanks for now. 1 Quote
nhpleasantlakebass Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I like tying knots but have no confidence in tying a leader. And also curious Its a small connection so could be used with micro guides Quote
TxHawgs Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I read an article on it a while back. You have to use these pieces of plastic with it. And to me they are too big and the big downfall of the product. You cant use it to attach a leader, and if I remember correctly you will always have a loop knot tied to your bait when using it. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted July 13, 2016 Super User Posted July 13, 2016 I'll keep my $200 and just tie a knot. Between that and their line cutter, you have to be rich just to attach a bait to your line! Quote
