The MVM strikes again.  Have fun!  Have a Jack n Coke on me.  I’ll holler if I see you guys in the moot.

Make it a point to look us up.  Give Mini a call or I'll IM you my cell.  Since my partner here in Virginia and I agree to take his boat and my truck, I am a rider and he absolutely HATES sight fishing in the Moot.  Although we got stuck in there 2 years ago because of 20-30mph sustained winds all week long.  He would rather come across to the the Mile Roads, Selfrege or Metro Beach.  We work our way from the Salt almost all the way to the mouth of the Detroit River some years.  This year we have a real character flying in from Australia again (he came last year as well) because he got hooked on smallies.

I'm heading out this weekend.  Most of the ice is off of the western side of LSC and it might be ice free with the rain coming tomorrow.  Going to hit the Clinton River spillway for some ice-out pike :)

Thanks!  I'm taking my wife with me, going to show her how to fish a Spook and Husky Jerk.  My luck is she will out fish me just like our last outing when I showed her how to fish a plastic worm :D

Here in central/west Michigan the 7-10 forecast looks good for melting ice. Partly sunny for the next week and a high of 54 for Friday. I’ll take it at this point.

Geez I thought the ice would last a little longer on those lakes.

Hey Michigan folks...  I'll be traveling West on 94 from Ann Arbor to Chicago.  Looking for a few spots I can stop and fish on the way home.  Will be traveling with my son and a few other father/sons.  Any suggestions are highly appreciated.  Only parameters being roughly 20 minute drive from 94 and we will obviously be fishing from the bank.  Thanks!!!!

Well if you’re leaving Ann Arbor and traveling east on 94 you’ll never make it to Chicago! ? Sorry I knew what you meant. I’ve never fished them but check out the Kalamazoo river around Battle Creek and check out the St. Joe river and see if you can tie into some brown bass.

If you were to take 94 east you run into some really good smallie fishing on Lake St. Clair.

d**n... I thought I edited my lack of direction before anyone read it!!  Thanks for suggestions.  Appreciate it.

I’ve only been out a few times this year mostly because of work. Did make the trip over to LSC and froze my butt off a week ago.

Going out today and tomorrow to see how it’s going with this crazy temps we’ve had.

I’ve only been out a few times as well. Sunday was the first time I got off the lake I live on. It was about 38 and breezy Sunday morning. We froze our butts off and caught nothing.

Work has been preventing me from getting out like I’ve wanted. I’ve been working every Saturday and my son has football on Sundays. Hopefully this Saturday we don’t have to work and I can try my hand at the brown bass.
