BASS302 Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Baitmaker, Do you do any other woodworking? The reason I'm asking is because your baits remind me of some of the realistic duck decoys I've seen. Quote

No I don't, but it's funny you should ask because I am getting ready to start on my first pair of duck carvings. I have them cut out and ready to start shaping. It should be fun. Quote

They are belly weighted floating baits that might reach 10 ft or so when trolled on small diameter line. Quote

Baitmaker Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Some new stuff. A blue tiger and a couple of new gold foiled ones. These are 6 and 4 inch cedar baits (minus the lips) I'm making some larger 6-7" lures for walleye on Lake Erie before the ice hits. 8 Quote

Super User fishwizzard Posted February 26, 2017 Super User Posted February 26, 2017 Man, those are some beautiful lures! If I ever buy a conversion van, I know who I am going to call to airbrush the sides of it, I think heavy-metal album covers are too old fashioned, I want my van to have a dayglow craw pattern. 3 Quote
