Tackle Warehouse Sale

Does anyone know when the next tackle warehouse sale is going to be? About to get some new rods and reels and trying to determine if I should wait for the next sale or not.

Memorial Day for sure, but that's not until May 30th.  Not sure between now and then what they might have.

Gander mountain has $20 off $100 or more purchase.  Plus any rod over $100 you get a mail in rebate for $20 gift card there.  Might be worth doing a few different transactions to get the most out of it.

There's generally a sale during the Bassmaster Classic for certain items. 

I believe the only store-wide sales are Memorial day, Tax Stimulus , Fourth of July and Black Friday. Memorial Day and Black Friday are usually 20% off , 4th of July is 15%, and the tax sale is i think 10% off storewide. There's smaller sales throughout the year like Fathers day, Bassmaster classic, might be some others I can't recall but they aren't storewide. They are select items only. Most vendors like Monster, BTD, HisTacklebox, KrugerFarms, TackleDirect, etc have sales throughout the year and generally have a higher % off sale than TW. TW will price match though as long as the exact item they have is available through TW.

If you email them they will simply tell you to join the mailing list. I don't believe they will tell you when or how much until the sale has gone live or just before. There next site wide sale will be Memorial Day and I would bet anything it will be 15% off. It has been 15% for quite some time. The only 20% off sale is Black Friday.

 

I would PM board sponsor Susquehanna fishing tackle and ask what their best price would be on the rods and reels you are looking for if they have them. Perhaps they could give you a "deal" on a rod and reel combo.

I called on Friday to inquire about a Presidents Day sale since I want a new reel and have a pile of gift cards for TW. I was told the next sale will be around the Classic.

You could always look at Bass Pro while you wait. Their spring classic is going on right now and they have some decent sales on certain rods (primarily their own)

April 15th they normally have a tax day sale but the next major one will be Memorial Day.
