nhpleasantlakebass Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I picked up a 7 foot medium casting reel and the 6'10h pitchen stick. im going to use the stick to pitch tubs and heavier jigs, also some heavier spinner baits. I was thinking the medium might make a good squarebill rod. I got them for $40 a piece at my local walmart it was to good a deal to pass up. Quote
lecisnith Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I've got the same Med rod. Super super sensitive for squarebills and light cranks. Quote
SMITTY0045 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Dang, wish my Walmart carried those, that's a great deal. I have had one for a few years now, they are super sensitive, light, and very durable Quote
amishnightmare88 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 I have all Falcon Cara's and Lowriders. Never used a Bucoo but if they are anything like the Cara or lowrider, you got a good deal! I will never get another brand other than Falcon. I have 2 G loomis rods as well... they are pretty good too, but i like my Falcons. 1 Quote
thirtysixit Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 BuCoos are great rods and you stole them!!!! Great find. Extremely light and sensitive rods. I've got the 6'6'' and 7'6'' mediums. They are both great for crankbaits. Quote
