I have been looking for an older ranger with Mercury v6 power for a while now. I finally found a 1984 330v that fit in my budget and is in nice shape. I picked it up this weekend. It runs really good, and is in decent shape. I plan on buffing the gel coat and adding some new electronics as well as a trolling motor.

Nice find. My dad had an 83 Ranger 330. My great uncle still owns it now. I think you'll be happy with it. Consider putting the newer style stickers on it (i believe 85 or after) if it's not too faded. It makes it look considerably more modern. Great classic ride though! They still look great despite being over 30 years old.

I was planning on doing that since I need to remove the decals to buff the top cap anyways. It's not super faded so it should shine up very nice.

Nice looking Ranger Cmiller, and looking at the pictures brought back fond memories of my 373V.  Hope you have the same experience with that solid fishing platform.  Only concern I'd like to say to keep an eye out for is I did break a leaf spring on my boat trailer an hour from the house on the way to go fishing.  Good fishing

Congrats on the boat, should be fun fixing it up to your liking.

Made some progress, wet sanded and buffed the top cap, still need to work on the bottom some more. The next step is some fiberglass repair around the bow eye.
