Super User N Florida Mike Posted September 7, 2020 Super User Posted September 7, 2020 Caught this nice shellcracker ( red ear ) and some of his buddies, fishing beds with worms. Also got a bonus bass which was fun on the ultralight combo... 4 Quote
BigAngus752 Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Sauger? Saugeye? I have no idea. The only thing that matters is that a Ned head with 1/2 of a ZinkerZ in the color Coppertreuse catches EVERYTHING. I've caught bass, crappie, bluegill, drum, catfish, and...whatever this is...oh, and a turtle. And a rusty Rapala Flicker Shad. I hope a pirate's chest is next. 5 Quote

Has the splotching but still has the white spot on the bottom of the tail. 2 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 21, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 21, 2020 Could have caught all these guys I wanted if I wasn't guiding Saturday morning. And this guy, what was he thinking? I mean, he's big for what he is, but come on. 11 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted September 27, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 27, 2020 New PB, that I know of. I hate the snot rockets! I’m sure this is my pike PB. My bump board is 22” and he hung 4-6” beyond that. 7 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Took the kid out for a walk in the bush for some grouse this morning. It was real windy, and way too hot for hunting, but we still had a nice walk and saw some nice views. 1 Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted September 27, 2020 Super User Posted September 27, 2020 Kayak fishing this week has been great. I had one bad day. The rest of the week was great with lots of Smallmouth, a PB Pickerel that broke off before I could get a pick and lots of Sunfish when the Smallmouth bite died out. Got a PB Redbreast Sunfish over a half a pound and lots of runner ups. http:// http:// 4 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 28, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 28, 2020 This is from a month or so ago on our family camping trip, but my dad just sent it to me. Caught on a 4" grub on an 1/8oz jighead, 10lb Seaguar Smackdown Flame Green with and 8lb Seaguar AbrasX leader on a ML rod. It was a good 15-20 minute fight that I thought was going to end early when I had a guy trolling cranks that I was sure was going to troll right across where I was fighting him and snag my lines. Seemed like he was coming through where I was no matter what but finally called off the dogs at the last minute. 7 Quote
