Those are some dark fish.

They always are, but the water clarity is moderately clear.

Safford, AZ. Another Albino Trout caught on an Atomic Tube Jig. Bonus Common Carp landed on Ultralight Gear - #4 test and a size 10 salmon egg hook. Took about 10 minutes to land and was a beast of a fight!

Last night this big bad boy torpedoed my weightless senko that I wiggled along just a foot from the grass bank...

...and I nearly stepped on this badass hanging out on the grass just a foot from the water:

@TnRiver46,

How did the fish like the beetle grub compared to the worms?

My buddy used both of them, I think he got bit and missed both times

And we of course got caught in another snow

Buffalo ribs are a big thing around here. I wish I knew someone who wanted to buy the nasty things, I could make a killing.

I thought about doing trotlining for catfish, decided it wouldn’t be worth it to do part time..  An old friend still does crabbing part time. He had to take up roofing because people were robbing his traps all the time...

Oh I'm not talking commercial fishing with nets or anything, but I could catch 20 of them a day on rod and reel from 10-30 pounds every time I go to the power plant lake I fish during the winter. I use to give them away all the time but people have gotten picky lately and never want the nasty things. They always want the bass, flatheads, and wipers I catch though ?‍♂️

Well those last 3 you listed taste a lot better than Buffalo! I can see how they became picky but beggars can’t be choosers haha

My little kitty from a week or so ago. Trying to warm up fishing a jigging spoon for whites or wipers, I wasn't cold anymore after fighting it.
