Fall fishing at the canal and it was a great multi-species day. I was fishing with a light action Kastking Calamus rod paired with a Lew's Mach II size 100 reel. All these fish were caught with Berkley Atomic Tubes in Grasshopper color.

Regret not taking a picture,  but hooked into what appeared to be the top section of an aged 3 piece rod. Had a ripstop snagged in the top eye and 10 ft of line attached that was removed before being released to a trashcan.

Was holding in about 10ft of water and took a maxscent creature hawg.

Someone had a bad day.

Took to Marsh Creek PA the other day to get on some LMB's. Was throwing out my Mega Bass Pop Max and this monster took it.  Was on my kayak so it was a real crazy few minutes fighting her and trying to get her in my net.  I knew how easily bendable the poppers trebles were so the whole time I  was saying to myself that shes going to pop off at any moment. She was pulling so hard that my kayak was all over the place.  Finally somehow I managed her to swim into the net.

A couple of guys boated by and it turns out they and their club members have been stocking pure bred muskies in the area for the last 10 years and told me that this was in the 50" range and very close to 10 years old.

spent 3 hours chasing Largemouths and only caught 5 dinks. pulled into a rocky cove and saw a bunch of commotion in the shallows. Threw a squarebill near shore and immediately hooked a white bass. switched over to a ratl trap and  caught white bass non stop for nearly 2 hours. they were all in 1-2 foot of water.

I lost count after 100, but got bit nearly every cast. spent just as much time unhooking fish as I did fishing.

They were all in the 1 to 2 lb range, except for the first pic. It  was 18.5 inches long and weighed just shy of 3 pounds. pretty sure it was a wiper.

Caught a drum on a One-Knocker which is a first. Hit it like a freight train, thought I actually had a quality bass until it started diving.

Our waters are loaded with them. Fishing any kind of crankbait here, usually guarantees a few drum.

There isn't any fish in our lakes that hits a spinnerbait any harder than these guys do.

Got to get out for a lil while today. Cool and damp. Caught a couple green fish too. Nothing big just checking to see if they are where they should be this time of year.

Maybe I should target carp instead of bass. Anyone want some carp nuggets?

I’ll eat about anything but the meat inside those fish is RED! I mean really red, although I was afraid to try it so I don’t know for sure

The weather changed for the better and I didn't want to be stuck inside so I meandered over to the local trout stream. With all the rain we got there are so few calm pools to fish but I found 2 nice brookies to take the Thomas spinners.
