25mph+ sustained winds in a kayak? Never again. But I did catch some fish. Felt like I was in the ocean!

While having a cruddy go of it in finding Smallmouth in Erie, we happened into a pod of Walleye.  To lessen the sting of sucky bass fishing that day, dinner that night was certainly tasty...

First time in the kayak. Wish it wouldn't have gotten wrapped up so I could have got the full experience.

I had quite the multispecies day Friday. Largemouth, smallmouth, bluegill, warmouth, white bass, walleye, channel cat, and drum, almost all on a Ned Rig. This channel cat was the largest fish of the day and gave quite the fight.

9lbs channel cat, caught it with my ultralight setup. He was a scrappy guy, gave me a run for my money.

I managed to nab this spotted tilapia the other day. Caught it on my ultra light setup. It was a little bigger than my hand.

They are great fried and they don't have any parasites at all like smallies and bluegill from rivers

Haha I did that last week too!  Monster hookset and a monster snapper.  Ugh.  For that half second though...
