Super User everythingthatswims Posted February 8, 2016 Super User Posted February 8, 2016 Figured we should have one of these, bass aren't always the target species. I caught a few stripers and largemouth on Lake Anna the other day. Good fun as always, finally got some fish to eat those 2015 Bassmaster Classic Hype Baits. 12 Quote

OntarioFishingGuy Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 From earlier this winter in Cuba. I used a 1/3 oz Cleo, casting of the beach. It fought hard on ML walleye gear / 10lb Power Pro. 12 Quote

Hog Basser Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I was bass fishin and this guy came up and hit my lure the second it hit the water last summer, right up in the weeds near the bank. Not supposed to even have channels stocked in this lake, but they're in there. 8 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 28, 2016 Global Moderator Posted February 28, 2016 I just can't keep away from these guys this winter, not a bad problem to have though. 14 Quote
Hog Basser Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 2 of our 7 crappie caught while bass fishing this weekend. These two were the biggest at 1.65 lbs and 14.5 inches. The rest ran about 12-13 inches and 1 pound each. 2 Quote
Fishin Ethan Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Caught this Southern Flounder in January. Used a baitcaster and the salt ruined it. It was 4lbs and cooked it up for dinner 3 Quote
EricTheAngler Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Good idea on the face part, but your other photos had your face on it. Quote
Cyacnba Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 My first pike ever! 3.5lb and caught on a football jig haha 3 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted March 10, 2016 Super User Posted March 10, 2016 I hate to be that guy, but that is a chain pickerel. A nice one though! 10 Quote
Cyacnba Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Oh yeah, I was too excited that I forgot there are pikes and pickerel haha. Thanks for reminding me of that haha Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted March 11, 2016 Author Super User Posted March 11, 2016 These pretty little guys have distracted me from bass for a little bit. When I caught two nice ones on a wacky rig I knew it was time to get the UL and some jigs. In an hour and a half today I caught 22 crappie, 22 (dink) largemouth, and 7 bluegill.....This thing called spring...I LIKE IT! 7 Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Cold, cold steelhead from late January. Probably one of the coldest days I have caught fish on. 4 Quote

wisconsin heat Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 It's been a few weeks since this trip on the ice. But here is the photo of my first fish through the ice of 2016: a little bluegill. It wasn't the best day on the ice, but I finished with maybe 15 fish. Here are some of the Goliath yellow perch we pulled up. I've also been keeping busy with the Brooks and Browns around my parts; I don't take many photos but take my word I've been catching more than just this one! 3 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 15, 2016 Global Moderator Posted March 15, 2016 Caught a couple bull gills on the float-n-fly out of a pond a few weeks ago. Also caught my first few trout of the season last week. I'd have video but my Virb is unfortunately at the bottom of the lake now 3 Quote
