Figured we should have one of these, bass aren't always the target species.

I caught a few stripers and largemouth on Lake Anna the other day. Good fun as always, finally got some fish to eat those 2015 Bassmaster Classic Hype Baits.

From earlier this winter in Cuba. I used a 1/3 oz Cleo, casting of the beach.

It fought hard on ML walleye gear / 10lb Power Pro.

I was bass fishin and this guy came up and hit my lure the second it hit the water last summer, right up in the weeds near the bank.  Not supposed to even have channels stocked in this lake, but they're in there.

I just can't keep away from these guys this winter, not a bad problem to have though.

2 of our 7 crappie caught while bass fishing this weekend.  These two were the biggest at 1.65 lbs and 14.5 inches.  The rest ran about 12-13 inches and 1 pound each.

Caught this Southern Flounder in January. Used a baitcaster and the salt ruined it:(. It was 4lbs and cooked it up for dinner

Good idea on the face part, but your other photos had your face on it. :(

I hate to be that guy, but that is a chain pickerel. :) A nice one though!

These pretty little guys have distracted me from bass for a little bit. When I caught two nice ones on a wacky rig I knew it was time to get the UL and some jigs. In an hour and a half today I caught 22 crappie, 22 (dink) largemouth, and 7 bluegill.....This thing called spring...I LIKE IT!

Cold, cold steelhead from late January. Probably one of the coldest days I have caught fish on.

It's been a few weeks since this trip on the ice. But here is the photo of my first fish through the ice of 2016: a little bluegill.

It wasn't the best day on the ice, but I finished with maybe 15 fish. Here are some of the Goliath yellow perch we pulled up.

I've also been keeping busy with the Brooks and Browns around my parts; I don't take many photos but take my word I've been catching more than just this one!

Caught a couple bull gills on the float-n-fly out of a pond a few weeks ago.

Also caught my first few trout of the season last week. I'd have video but my Virb is unfortunately at the bottom of the lake now :(
