My old Win XP computer kicked the bucket. New one has Windows 10. Talk about a learning curve.

Haha, the sound booth computers at my church are still running XP. It's a boss of a system for sure, but I like 10 a whole lot better. It's really not that bad.

I haven't changed to 10 yet. Kinda scared to, every time I change, something screws up.

If you have any systems with XP and internet connected considered it compromised. Very bad idea to still have them.

I built this unit myself, about 10 or 12 yrs. ago. Water cooled, by the way.

Impressed.

I use Mac OS or Linux on my personal machines so I'm avoiding Windows. I use 7 at work, and it is a fine system, but I'm not a fan of 8 or 10.

I hear ya. For a Windows OS XP is da bomb. Seven was pretty good too. Windows 10 seems to be a robust system so far,but I haven't really done much with it yet after installing it a couple months ago. I think I'm learning to do just about anything I need with my iPad. Not saying it's a replacement for a pc but getting close.

I am still using 7 on mine.  The only time I change the OS is when I get a new computer.

Not sure exactly what you built there but it sure looks cool. What exactly is it?

It's a computer. I built it back when Windows XP first came out.

My wife had to replace our laptop recently that had all our office stuff on it.  When she did it came with Windows 10.  The old one had Windows 8 on it.  I could never get used to Win 8 and never upgraded my laptop because Win 8 was just that bad.  She always had a million questions about how to do this or that.  When her new one came with Win 10 I upgraded mine and have found it to be pretty comparable to Win 7 as far as ease of use.  There are a few things to adjust to on Win 10, but for the most part I really don't mind it.  Windows ME and Windows 8 are by far the worst of the WIndows bunch.

7 wasn't bad, 8 was terrible. Unfortunately that's what's on my computer at work. My personal laptop had 8 on it when I bought it and I upgraded to 10 a few months ago. It seems like a MUCH better system. Definitely different than XP, but there are more similarities between XP and 10 than XP and 8. You'll have the hang of it in no time!

I'm running Windows Vista on a 2007 DELL and really like it. Unfortunately I'm being notified that Vista will not be supported much longer. Would cost me about a $100 to up-grade to 10 and was told that I would be better off putting that money towards a new pc with 10 already in it. Hang on brain cells, here we go again!

I use to live in Amish country near the end of the line, the way the wires run. It was me and maybe 2 others that needed the service, so the phone company would not even consider and upgrade, so we suffered thru years of dial up service that demanded a minimum of a 28 kb puter.:D Talk about a pony express type service!

I liked XP but the security was SO BAD

8 was horrible and they knew it so they made 10 free to most users. Don`t care for that email system.

Hootie,nice "water cooled " build.
