I ordered one in bone earlier this week. Can't wait to try it out.  Will probably get one in loon for night tourney's too.  Seems to me like it might have a jitterbug type sound? Which has been awesome for me at night. But can speed up the retrieve on the plopper if needed which you really can't do on the Jitterbug

Way different, but it's got a sound and it gets crushed.  Sometimes they want it burned, other times stop and go, then sometimes slow, but when they commit, they commit.

What kind of rod are you throwing the plopper on? Something along the lines of a 6'8" medium power rod with a fast action? Or am I way off base?

I have had good luck with the shad colored 130 size. I fished mine on a 7' 3" H/F with 50lb braid and it's been perfect for it.

I plan on picking two of these up in 130 soon. Got two gift cards for a new local shop and they are supposed to get fishing inventory next week. A lot of people tend to recommend the 130 size it seems. I hear the stock hooks are junk though?

This ^^^ except I fish 30 or 40lb braid.  Fish a 7'3"H Fast action, but if I'm fishing the 90 size, then I fish a 7'3"M Fast action.  Both with a reel that has a 26-28 IPT pick up.

My favorite is the 130 size in Bone...I think the 90 size is sort of useless as I've had 12" fish take the 130 size.  For me I've found a slowest retrieve possible has brought me the most luck...

Just make sure your knot is tied correctly The first tiime out I lost my brand new 90 size on third or so cast due to lousy knot....ugh.

I'm going to order a 130 loon and a 90 I know it.  Can't wait until the ice melts around here.

I've had better luck on the 90 size for both quantity and quality.  I prefer the bone color  and have both the 90 and 130 size.  I throw the 90 size on a 7'6" mh crankbait rod with 12lb mono and I throw the 130 on a 7' H Duckett with 20lb mono.  Both setups work well for me and produced a lot of fish in later December 2015.

I sent in an order, mainly swim jigs to TW and added a Phantom Shad color at the last minute to check out all the fuss. Should be here in a day or two.

For topwater I think it's just the silhouette and the noise/action of the bait that draws the fish in to strike.  If a fish is looking up at a lure from underwater with the light source behind it, it's not really going to see the colors.  In clear water maybe a dark or light belly will be noticable, but the colors on the top of the lure, the fish are NEVER going to see those colors.

All colors seem to get the job done. 130 is a good size and can catch some quality fish but don't let the 90 fool you. They both are great. Color wise I would go loon and I know it
